Each semester we offer multiple classes designed with you in mind. Here is a list of class for the 2018 Spring Semester. When you register, please indicate which class you plan to attend. Activities for birth - 12th grades are going on at the same time.


Life On Mission - Brad Aylor / Scott Chronister
Room 708-709 4 weeks: Feb 21 - March 14 Cost: $10

Life on Mission is a call to action for everyone who considers themselves to be a Christ-follower. A common sense, “one step at a time” approach to living out what Jesus describes as our purpose is refreshing and easy for everyone to comprehend. You don’t have to be a biblical scholar to live life on mission – you just have to love God, love people, and live that way.

Financial Peace University - Katy Hylander
Room 818 9 weeks: Feb 21 - May 2 Cost: $90 / Household

Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be by looking at God’s way of handling money. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

Have you ever had the thought, “I’m a Christian, now what?” Whether you are a new believer or just need encouragement for the next stage of your walk with Christ, this class is for you!

Bible Prophecy 301 - Ted Naman
Room 701-702 12 weeks: Feb 21 - May 23 (No Class on March 21 & 28) Cost: $15 (Optional)

This semester we will take an in-depth look at the first 11 chapters of the book of Revelation. We will cover the topics of the letters to the seven churches in Asia Minor, the seven seals of judgments, the seven trumpet judgments, the two witnesses, and much more.

Lay Counseling Training - Cathy Breese

First Baptist Owasso provides specific training to equip church members to serve as a lay counselor in our Counseling Ministry. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, this class is how you get started.

Divorce Care - Rex and Vickie Porter
Room 817 12 weeks: Feb 21 - May 23 (No Class on March 21 & 28) Cost: $10

For people who have experienced the deep hurt of separation and divorce. Led by people who have been through divorce and can help you experience real hope for your future.

Mid-Week Prayer Meeting

 This group gathers to study God’s Word and pray for those in need.

Life On Mission Part 2 - Brad Aylor / Scott Chronister
Room 709 5 weeks: April 4 - May 2
Cost: $10

The good news of God’s grace must be spoken. Other than one’s own salvation there may not be a greater joy than explaining the gospel and watching God do what only He can do: save people. During this class, we will walk through what it practically looks like to intentionally share the gospel. You will learn some great tools to use to begin spiritual conversations with people

PLACE - Page Cole
Room 708 6 weeks: April 4 - May 9
Cost: $10

Through the PLACE process, participants discover that God created them with a unique personality, spiritual gifts, abilities, passions, and experiences. Discovering God's purpose and plan for their lives helps members find their PLACE of service within the body of Christ.

Grief Share - John Belcher
Room 700 13 weeks: Jan 30 - May 1 Cost: $10

Grief Share is a 13-week special support group for people grieving the loss of a spouse, child, family member or friend. It is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and who have a desire to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. Each session includes a video seminar with top experts on grief recovery and group discussion.
